I started playing bass semi pro from the age of 17 in cover bands.
Continued playing bass semi and professionally for 30 something years and singing some lead vocals.
In 2013 i became frontman in a 80's tribute band, then bassist/singer in another covers band.
Recently i've been a solo vocalist, but now living my childhood dream playing the part of Suggs with the Northeast Nuttyboys.
After finishing the Royal School of Music Mark joined the Grenadier Guards Band and became the Principal Tenor Sax for many years.Mark has completed tours of America,Canada and Australia with CBS Records and House of Blues as well as playing in many groups/function bands over the years all over the country.
Hi,i'm John. After many years as a child playing cello i finally thought i'd better pick a more cool instrument to play,so i picked up a guitar in my early teens and haven't looked back since! I am a grade 8 guitarist that has played in multiple bands all over the country and the continent.Although i was born and grew up in the era of skinny jeans,i am still a lover of BAGGY TROUSERS !
Derrick started playing lead guitar at an early age,but quickly made the change to bass as it more suited him and has since played in many pub/club/function bands of different styles and genres over the years.Beyond Madness is definitely the band for him now though,as Madness has always been a firm favourite.
